Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Contract Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a defined portfolio of customer accounts, perform aging reviews, and conduct targeted collection outreach. The role requires meticulous record-keeping in ERP systems and strong problem-solving skills.

Onsite in Moreno Valley, CA with typical 8-5 schedule, 3-6 month engagement. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility as described.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable and collections.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Ability to analyze aging reports and reconcile accounts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring payment activity and disputes.
• Perform aging reviews and targeted collection outreach based on risk and priorities.
• Record collection actions, customer interactions, and dispute details in the ERP/tracking system with accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash promptly.
• Reconcile AR subledger with the general ledger and monitor intercompany receivables monthly.
• Provide concise reporting on overdue balances, disputes, and collection progress.
• Escalate collection barriers proactively and document root causes and actions.
