Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Memphis, TN is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to support cash collections and reduce DSO. The role reports to the Senior Account Resolution Specialist and collaborates with AR Invoicing and Cash Applications to provide excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate has familiarity with accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end, prioritizing and coordinating with other departments to resolve disputes and collect

Qualifications

• College degree or 2+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience with accounts receivable or cash applications is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR portfolio and manage ~40,000 customers and $200M+ in annual revenue.
• Apply procedures to troubleshoot non-payment, including skip tracing and dunning.
• Collaborate with AR Invoicing, Cash Applications, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve billing issues.
• Attend monthly meetings with AVPs and DOOs to review aging and problem accounts.
• Escalate uncollected accounts and improve aging performance across portfolios.
• Suggest improvements to policies and procedures across teams.
