The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Planning & Analytics Strategist to lead demand forecasting and performance analytics, collaborating across Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate planning and insightful executive reporting.

The ideal candidate will turn historical trends into actionable projections, guiding resource allocation and strategic decisions at the executive level. This fully remote role emphasizes storytelling with data and driving impact across our eCommerce platforms.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategic Planning, or Quantitative Finance.
• Expertise in forecasting methodologies and statistical analysis (time-series, regression, causal modeling).
• Proficiency in "Retail Math" and a strong understanding of business performance drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort navigating ambiguous datasets and building scalable analytical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand forecasting models to support annual planning and ongoing re-forecasting cycles for eCommerce businesses.
• Plan forecasting for strategic partners and core business performance across channels.
• Prepare weekly business review and MBR, presenting performance analysis, scenarios, and recommendations to leadership.
• Analyze key business performance drivers and variances against forecast with root-cause analysis.
• Spearhead recurring performance reporting and ad hoc analyses to support ongoing business needs.
• Lead scenario modelling and performance measurement for promotional strategy with read-outs on lift, cannibalization, and margin impact.
