Job summary

IRIS in Colorado (Americas) is seeking a Business Analyst to work with the Senior Director of Program Management across strategy, operations, and renewal programs. This generalist role offers broad exposure to how a global software business operates and provides real responsibility from day one.

You will support go-to-market strategy, market research, and renewal analytics, coordinating cross-functional projects, and delivering insights to guide day-to-day decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, economics, finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, operations, or consulting.
• Strong analytical and research skills; ability to draw structured conclusions from data.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior audiences.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• High attention to detail and good organizational habits.
• Able to work independently as priorities shift.
• Genuine interest in the software industry and how technology businesses grow.

Responsibilities

• Support Americas go-to-market strategy development with market sizing, competitive analysis, and opportunity identification.
• Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer segments for leadership briefings.
• Build and maintain a competitive intelligence tracker for HCM and accountancy software.
• Assist in leadership reviews and strategic planning cycles.
• Work on ad hoc strategic projects as business priorities shift.
• Support design and upkeep of program trackers with clear ownership and milestones.
• Spot operational inefficiencies and contribute to process improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and track actions to keep workstreams on schedule.
• Analyze business performance data and pull insights for daily decisions.
• Contribute to the team's AI agenda and evaluate tools for AI-powered workflows.
• Support renewal pipelines, analyze renewal data, and build renewal dashboards in Salesforce.
