Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Senior Strategic Analytics Manager to lead advanced analytics, informatics, and data engineering initiatives across pharmacy leadership and systemwide executives.

You will design scalable data models, dashboards, and analytic frameworks to transform clinical, operational, and financial data into actionable insights, driving medication-related workflows and clinical quality improvements within the EHR.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required.
• Active pharmacist license required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare analytics, data science, informatics, consulting, or strategic analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics, data modeling, financial modeling, and strategic analysis.
• Experience working with healthcare data systems and electronic health records.
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, and healthcare operations.
• Proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools supporting strategic decision-making.
• Conduct advanced analyses that integrate clinical performance, operational metrics, financial outcomes, and market trends.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and executive-level presentations that translate findings into recommendations.
• Partner with data engineering, IT, and analytics teams to develop scalable data pipelines and integrated data models.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability through monitoring processes and data management best practices.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT system services to support clinical decision support workflows within the EHR.
• Monitor and assess the impact of informatics initiatives and EHR changes on workflows and outcomes.
• Establish partnerships across pharmacy, IT, finance, and clinical leadership for alignment and execution.
• Communicate analytical concepts effectively to senior executives and clinical leaders.
• Identify risks and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
• Provide mentorship to analytics, informatics, and data team members.
