Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Insights & Analytics Lead Consultant to partner with senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Growth, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Consumer Banking. You will leverage advanced analytics, experimentation, BI, and data-driven storytelling to influence enterprise decisions.

You’ll combine strong technical expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities, uncover insights, and deliver recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Advanced SQL and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with Power BI and visualization tools.
• Cloud analytics experience (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS).
• Strong consulting, communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define business questions, success metrics, and analytical strategies.
• Lead complex analytics initiatives that support growth, customer experience, operational excellence, and strategic priorities.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and customer behaviors.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Lead experimentation, test-and-learn initiatives, performance measurement, and advanced analytics efforts.
• Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reporting solutions.
• Drive reporting automation, modernization, and best practices across analytics and business intelligence.
• Mentor analysts and consultants while helping shape the future analytics strategy of the organization.
