Job summary

AstraZeneca in Boston region is seeking a strategic analytics partner to lead reporting, dashboards, BI, and analytics for US Hematology/Nephrology. You will collaborate with leadership, sales, marketing, and IT to drive commercialization insights and optimize product launches.

You will shape the analytics roadmap, expand self-service analytics, and deliver actionable analyses across brands, customer engagement, and field execution.

Qualifications

• Education aligned with data science, business or related fields.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in commercial analytics or BI.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech commercial organizations.
• Strong data warehousing, data modeling, and relational databases knowledge.
• Hands-on ANSI SQL and Hive SQL experience; familiarity with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and adoption of dashboards and reports for HQ and field teams.
• Shape analytics roadmap, advancing AI, automation, and self-service reporting.
• Collaborate with BU leadership, IT, marketing, and analytics teams.
• Translate needs into data requirements, metrics, and technical specs.
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses to inform brand strategy and launches.
• Grow self-service analytics, training, and reusable reporting components.
