Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director, Capabilities and Partnerships, to connect performance intelligence with business decisions across the US Patient Support ecosystem. Based in Gaithersburg or Wilmington, the role requires frequent in-person collaboration to accelerate learning and impact.

You will translate fragmented data into clear insights, shape capability strategy, and prioritize investments delivering value to patient access.

Qualifications

• Strong reporting and analytics capability for pharma data.
• Ability to connect data across vendors, programs and services.
• Comfort using AI and advanced analytics tools to generate insight.
• Experience in vendor management and project management.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Performance Intelligence Strategy: connect data to actionable insight for patient journeys.
• Ecosystem Measurement: evaluate program interactions and outcomes at portfolio level.
• Reporting and Analytics: design dashboards and scorecards for program and ecosystem levels.
• Capability Scouting and Build: identify data gaps and engage capabilities/vendors.
• AI-Driven Insight: leverage AI to synthesize signals and inform decisions.
• Vendor and Partnership Leadership: coordinate vendor relationships within a complex ecosystem.
• Business and Data Proficiency: interpret signals to align patient support with brand goals.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: partner with Brand Engagement, DTC, Patient Support Ops, and others to advance access goals.
• Data Stewardship and Compliance: uphold guardrails and lawful sharing practices.
