Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, ICT or related STEM with 4 years post-related experience.
• Minimum six (6) years' experience in acquisition, assembly, and interpretation of research & technology information.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Science & Technology information sources in defense contexts.
• Experience interpreting future S&T for military applications and operations.
• Proficient in PC office automation and internet research.
• Possess Secret Security Clearance and US Citizen status and passport awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and catalogue new and existing Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs).
• Support assessment of EDT implications and adoption opportunities in support of the Warfare Development Agenda.
• Promote increased experimentation of EDT-based solutions in realistic environments.
• Provide input to programming of EDT activities for NATO foresight, policy, and capability development.
• Influence and exploit EDTs addressing identified capability shortfalls and impacting available capabilities.
• Provide and coordinate input to EDTs advice informing NATO's strategic foresight, AoA, and capability development.
• Educate HQ staff on opportunities and risks associated with EDTs.
• Organize and manage a knowledge base on EDT adoption for Warfare Development.
