Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic Asset Liability Treasury Manager in Plano, TX to oversee ALM modeling and balance sheet strategies. The role requires advancing NII and EVE analysis, monitoring market conditions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team within the Treasury Department, collaborate across departments, and mentor staff while developing treasury policies and procedures to align with the bank's financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Treasury or related banking roles.
• Direct knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies.
• Certification(s) preferred.
• Experience with ZMDesk and Moody’s OALM model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance ALM model supporting NII and EVE sensitivity.
• Monitor market conditions and identify trends impacting interest-rate-risk and liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines including liquidity and interest rate risk.
• Develop and supplement risk management practices for balance sheet objectives.
• Prepare and present reports to Treasury senior management and ALCO on NII/EVE results.
• Utilize advanced financial modeling to support balance sheet strategies.
• Assist with counterparties and external investment managers to monitor hedging transactions.
• Perform stress testing on the ALM Model to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Treasury leadership to align strategies with financial goals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
