Job summary

The City of Austin is seeking a Contract Management Specialist III to administer and manage a diverse portfolio of contracts for the airport revenue stream. You will supervise contract development, monitoring, and compliance, while coordinating with departments and tenants to ensure timely deliverables and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in contract law, management systems, and performance analytics, with experience in airport or property management settings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration or Public Administration, plus four years of related experience.
• Experience may substitute for education up to four years; Master’s degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience managing competing priorities in a commercial airport or property management environment, and proficiency with contract management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a portfolio of revenue-generating contracts.
• Develop, coordinate, and draft revenue solicitations.
• Analyze contract performance, revenue, compliance findings, and KPIs.
• Inspect leased space to verify compliance.
• Manage relationships with tenants and serve as primary point of contact for contract inquiries.
• Ensure contract activities, deliverables, compliance checks, and renewals are documented and tracked in the system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support contract development and enforcement actions.
