Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a Strategic Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales and Success to drive net-new business and expand existing accounts. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with strong presentation skills and enough technical aptitude to solve client challenges.

Hybrid role in Chicago with travel up to 50%. You will design PoVs, build dashboards, and assist with RFPs while staying current on new features and maintaining sales demo spaces.

Qualifications

• Hybrid role based in Chicago requiring occasional in-person meetings in the Midwest.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI-driven workflow automation for scalable enterprise productivity.
• 6+ years in a customer-facing technology role; ideally pre-sales or equivalent consulting/sales enablement.
• 2+ years of demonstrated success with commercial or enterprise clients.
• Understanding of deployment processes enabling Cloud transformation and organizational adoption.
• Strong customer-facing skills to influence technical and executive audiences.
• Creative problem solver with eagerness to learn new technologies and build lightweight custom solutions.
• Experience in business process mapping and value-based selling to drive outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLMs and integration platforms and APIs.
• Up to 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and success to deliver technical presentations that explain our products and integrations for prospective and current clients.
• Design, develop, deploy and manage customer-specific PoV projects.
• Build custom reports and dynamic dashboards for prospective clients' management teams.
• Assist with the functional and technical elements of RFPs.
• Stay current on new feature releases and maintain updated demo spaces for sales.
• This role will support customers across the North East.
