Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a Strategic Solutions Engineer in the Boston area to partner with Sales and Success on technical presentations, PoV projects, and custom dashboards for prospective and current clients.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in customer-facing tech roles, strong AI/LLM experience, and hands-on expertise with automation, APIs, and integrations. This hybrid position requires periodic in-person meetings and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA with strong preference for in-person meetings in the Boston area.
• Proven experience designing and implementing agentic workflow automation using AI platforms, including autonomous agents for task orchestration and cross-app integrations.
• 6+ years in a customer facing role with technology, ideally pre-sales, but possibly consulting, implementation, or sales enablement.
• 2+ years demonstrable success working with commercial or enterprise clients.
• Understanding deployment processes that enable Cloud transformation, change management and organizational adoption.
• Strong customer-facing skills to influence technical and executive audiences toward outcomes.
• Creative problem solving and eagerness to learn new technologies, with ability to craft lightweight custom solutions.
• Demonstrated ability in business process mapping and value selling to align solutions with business goals.
• Hands-on experience with AI & LLMs, integration platforms, web services, and APIs.
• Travel up to 50% is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and success to deliver technical presentations that explain our products and integrations for prospective and current clients.
• Design, develop, deploy and manage customer-specific PoV projects.
• Build custom reports and dynamic dashboards for prospective clients' management teams.
• Assist with the functional and technical elements of RFPs.
• Stay current on new feature releases and maintain updated demo spaces for sales.
• This role will support customers across the North East.
