Job summary

AMCO is seeking an accomplished Supply Chain Manager to lead aerospace planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier management. You will ensure material availability, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency while aligning with production schedules.

You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and finance to build a resilient, high‑performing supply chain and oversee ERP/MRP accuracy to support aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense supply chain with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards and regulations (AS9100, ITAR/EAR, FAA).
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
• Demonstrated success in supplier management, negotiation, and contract development.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned to production and program needs.
• Oversee procurement, materials planning, logistics, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Manage supplier performance via metrics, audits, and scorecards.
• Lead supplier negotiations and long-term agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and safety stock.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations on new product introductions.
• Oversee ERP/MRP system accuracy and performance.
• Track KPIs like on-time delivery, supplier quality, and total cost of ownership.
• Drive initiatives for supply chain resilience and dual-sourcing.
• Coordinate with Quality and Compliance on nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting.
