Qualifications

• Procurement, planning, inventory, logistics and supplier management expertise.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to concurrently manage a portfolio of projects.
• Limited travel required for major projects and supplier visits.
• Knowledge of Buy American Act and aerospace sourcing restrictions.
• Knowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFARS compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with growth and customer commitments.
• Lead sourcing, purchasing and supplier management for multiple product categories.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost competitiveness and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supplier terms.
• Mitigate supply chain risks including sole-source and obsolescence.
• Drive supplier performance via scorecards, visits and corrective actions.
• Ensure material availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop procurement strategies to improve turns and reduce working capital.
• Oversee shipping, freight management and logistics providers.
• Utilize ERP/planning systems to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace/defense, government contracting and quality requirements.
