Job summary

Ace Precision Machining in Wisconsin seeks a Production Planner to coordinate materials, schedules, jobs, and priorities for aerospace and defense programs on the shop floor. You’ll balance cost, quality, inventory, and delivery to keep parts available when needed.

You will work across Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality, using ERP data and scheduling tools to keep plans aligned and drive on-time delivery. Strong organization and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activity for assigned product classes to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Maintain accurate production and planning information in the ERP system.
• Review planning reports and release jobs with high accuracy.
• Develop and adjust production schedules based on priorities, capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Track progress through production meetings and communicate status to teams.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Purchasing to support customer schedules.
