Job summary

Ace Precision is hiring a skilled Production Planner in Oconomowoc, WI to coordinate products in the assigned part class groups, with the goal of meeting cost, quality and delivery objectives. The role requires maintaining accurate ERP records, coordinating with purchasing and production, and ensuring timely routing and scheduling.

Education and experience: an Associates Degree or equivalent in business or production management, plus 2+ years of production planning in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Business Management, Production Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of related production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records in the ERP database.
• Reviews raw material requirements and coordinates deliveries with purchasing and production to meet delivery requirements while maintaining inventory goals.
• Reviews routings and sketches for errors before releasing jobs to the shop floor.
• Assists supervisors in setting the production schedule.
• Prepares milestone schedules and production reports to keep key products on track.
