Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Advertiser Support Specialist to help build and scale advertiser support within the Ads Safety Operations. Qualifications

• 6+ years in customer or advertiser support, operations, or risk-related roles.
• Strong investigative judgment to translate signals into policy and product gaps.
• Ability to synthesize trends into clear improvement priorities.
• Proven experience improving support processes, playbooks, or escalation workflows.
• Comfort with AI and emerging tech to automate repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own advertiser cases from intake to resolution, including high-impact escalations.
• Investigate policy, review operations, product behavior, tooling, and dependencies.
• Communicate clear next steps and follow through with stakeholders.
• Develop expertise across advertiser workflows, policies, enforcement, and tooling.
• Create clearer help content, better routing, and improved knowledge management.
• Partner with Product, Policy, Engineering, Legal, Data Science, and GTM teams.
• Drive AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and improve quality.
• Provide on-call support during holidays or weekends as needed.
