Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Support Delivery Lead for Ads to oversee end-to-end support delivery across the ads ecosystem. You will lead a team, set quality standards, and translate support signals into actionable product improvements, partnering with Engineering, Product, and GTM.

You will coach engineers, design coverage for delivery and monetization issues, and drive alignment on priorities while maintaining high operational rigor in a hybrid SF Bay Area environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years in Support Delivery, Customer Operations, Ads Operations, or similar
• Includes 6+ years of direct people management
• Experience supporting advertising products and workflows
• Strong cross-functional leadership with influence on product/engineering roadmaps
• Proven ability to define and manage operational KPIs and reporting cadences

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Ads support engineers, ensuring tool access, clarity, and coaching
• Set expectations, run performance reviews, and build development plans for technical depth and customer-facing excellence
• Design and improve support coverage for ad buyers to diagnose delivery, monetization, and integration issues
• Bridge Support Delivery with Engineering, Product, and GTM to align priorities and rollout readiness
• Partner with engineering to resolve complex issues and generate insights for product decisions
• Handle escalated customer engagements professionally and represent OpenAI in challenging builds
• Contribute to scalable, AI-enabled workflows and processes that grow user operations
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on Ads launches to ensure support readiness
