Job summary

Kuyper College seeks a Chief Advancement Officer to lead the Advancement Office and drive fundraising, communications, alumni relations, events, and public relations in support of the college’s mission. The role reports to the President’s Leadership Team and collaborates with third-party contractors and college leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in fund development, strong leadership skills, and a track record of major gifts, complemented by excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in fund development, marketing, public relations and alumni relations/website development.
• Proven track record of raising major gifts.
• Strong leadership and people-management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the College Advancement Strategic Plan.
• Lead fund development efforts including annual fund, endowments, scholarships, and major gifts.
• Oversee communications, publications, website, and external channels.
