Job summary

Syracuse University is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment for the School of Education to lead graduate and undergraduate enrollment efforts. This role oversees recruitment strategy, communication plans, and collaboration with SOE marketing, Undergraduate Admissions, and external partners to align admissions with program goals and a strong student experience on campus.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in higher education admissions and recruitment.
• Experience leading enrollment strategy for graduate and undergraduate programs.
• Knowledge of SLATE, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel.
• Familiarity with academic institutions (higher education and K-12) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the recruiting strategy for SOE graduate and undergraduate programs and the BSSW program.
• Direct the development, maintenance, and execution of the SOE communication plan to prospective and admitted students.
• Collaborate with SOE marketing and communications team on promotional materials and solicit program input to inform review and editing.
• Provide oversight of recruitment communication and support for SOE programs across admissions, including setting up program interviews.
• Coordinate and direct the efforts of graduate and undergraduate faculty involved in recruitment with Faculty Directors and program coordinators.
• Coordinate undergraduate recruitment activities for SOE programs and BSSW, building pipelines with high schools, community colleges, and transfer feeders.
• Partner with Undergraduate Admissions on campus visits, articulation agreements, and transfer student recruitment; represent SOE at recruitment events.
