Job summary

Englewood Health and Rehab in Ohio is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Manager to lead an external sales strategy aimed at maximizing census and occupancy. The role requires building strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, senior centers, and other referral sources, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The director will develop and implement plans to convert referrals into admissions, coordinate events, and provide regular updates to the Administrator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Valid driver’s license in the state.
• Minimum 3 years of census development and occupancy management experience in a nursing home or related facility.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans external sales strategy to achieve census goals while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians, senior centers, home health, hospice).
• Communicates facility services clearly to referral partners.
• Submits calendar of events and activities to demonstrate census strategy execution.
• Documents weekly calendar execution for supervisor.
• Converts referrals to admissions through a proactive sales approach.
• Schedules events with referral partners and reports results to the Administrator.
• Maintains territory and expands partnerships with physicians and community-based agencies.
• Keeps updated listings of referral sources and assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
