Job summary

Englewood Health and Rehab in Englewood, OH is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Manager to lead external sales and census development. The role focuses on building relationships with referral sources, coordinating a strategic outreach plan, and ensuring occupancy goals while complying with state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (preferred), a valid driver’s license, and at least three years of census/occupancy experience in a health care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent experience in health care admissions/marketing.
• Valid driver’s license in the state.
• Minimum three years of census development and occupancy management experience in a nursing home or related facility.
• Knowledge of long-term care laws, regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, and implements an external sales strategy to achieve census goals while complying with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Plans, develops and implements an external census sales strategy to build and maintain relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians, senior centers, home health agencies, hospice, etc.).
• Provides information clearly sharing the services and offerings of the facility.
• Identifies opportunities with new referral partners and develops strategies to communicate the facility’s services; submits monthly calendar to supervisor showing outreach activities.
• Provides weekly documentation of calendar execution to supervisor.
• Develops and implements a sales strategy that leads to conversion of referrals to admission status.
• Schedules routine events with referral partners and reports results to the Administrator.
• Maintains the geographic territory as outlined by the Administrator and seeks additional partnerships.
• Other duties as assigned.
