Job summary

Qualifications

• MA/MSW in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services.
• Experience with intake, assessment, crisis intervention in psychiatric settings.
• Computer/data entry experience required.
• Preferred knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of insurance/managed care and psychiatric diagnosis symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess potential patients and inquiry callers.
• Work with Business Office regarding patient financial data.
• Collaborate with UR Department for patient certification.
• Initiate the referral process when indicated.
• Communicate with referral sources.
