Job summary

The University of Toledo seeks an Administrative Director for Transplant Service Line to provide strategic and operational leadership for the UTMC Center for Transplant Medicine and affiliated clinics and outreach services. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in healthcare, business, education or related field required; MBA or MHA preferred.
• Seven plus years of previous management experience required with at least five in years in a relevant healthcare setting with transplant services experience preferred.
• Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives certification preferred.
• Experience, training, and/or certification in operations improvement methodologies (i.e. lean six sigma) desired.
• Tactful, respectful, and courteous in dealing with patients, visitors, students, residents, physicians, and staff.
• Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar software applications with proven knowledge of standard computer manipulation required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both oral and written format.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the UTMC Center for Transplant Medicine and affiliated clinics and outreach services.
• Deliver oversight and coordination of transplant service line operations, ensuring alignment with the university's mission.
• Lead collaboration across multiple teams to drive patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
