Job summary

Southwest Transplant Alliance in Dallas, TX, seeks a Director, Clinical Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for Clinical and Surgical Services, ensuring compliant, high‑quality operations that maximize donation opportunities and support organizational objectives.

The role leads department leadership, fosters accountability and collaboration, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to advance regulatory compliance, workforce development, and effective transplant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, allied science, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Licensed as a registered nurse or physician assistant is required.
• CPTC certification required within 18 months.
• Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Clinical Services and Surgical Services.
• Ensure compliant, high‑quality operations maximizing donation opportunities.
• Lead and develop department leadership while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to advance initiatives and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, financial controls, and resource management.
• Participate in Administrator On‑Call responsibilities as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality systems, risk, and Lean practices.
• Support workforce development and cross‑functional alignment.
