Job summary

UMMC is seeking an Associate Director of Ambulatory Operations for the Transplant Clinic, Suite L, located in the Medical Pavilion. This role collaborates with senior management to plan, direct, and coordinate clinical operations, ensuring policies and procedures support departmental goals.

Required is an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with at least three years in clinical operations and one year in supervisory leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) and three (3) years of work experience in clinical operations.
• supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare administration and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day clinical operations to support providers, staff, and customers.
• Manages employees including scheduling, evaluation, and problem resolution.
• Implements policies and procedures to meet departmental goals and regulatory standards.
• Maintains equipment/inventory and ensures quality patient care.
• Prepares reports supporting quality patient care and personnel management.
