Job summary

M&D is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Lead to manage day-to-day AR, cash application, and collections activities across multiple branches. The role partners with the Credit Manager and GL team to resolve reconciling items and escalations, driving cash flow and financial health.

The position requires leading the O2C system, training staff, and ensuring timely payments. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit management.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, AR processes, and GL coding.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with AR/collections software and Microsoft Excel.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process ACH and counter payments accurately and on time.
• Prepare deposits and post payment entries.
• Review reconciling items with GL team and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor aging and collect on overdue accounts; implement collection strategies.
• Lead training on the Order-to-Cash system and support month-end close.
• Prepare aging reports and ensure policy compliance.
