Job summary

Mood Media, Fort Mill, SC, seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead a North America team of Collections and AR Specialists. This role manages daily workflow, coaching, and performance, while ensuring accurate Oracle EBS AR entries and adherence to the AR Operations Handbook.

The supervisor collaborates with the AR Manager on staffing, escalations, and process improvements, driving cash collection and aging management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising collections specialists and AR specialists.
• Ability to coach, schedule, and manage performance with clear expectations.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS AR, customer portals, and dunning tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 5+ Collections Specialists and AR Specialists daily; set schedule, approve time off, coach on calls and notes.
• Run the team's cadence: morning huddle, daily worklist review, and end-of-day check.
• Monitor standards daily: live contacts, promise-to-pay, disputes, and actions.
• Review weekly work for quality: note samples, reason codes, and route disputes correctly in Oracle; retrain as needed.
• Handle escalations from customers and team within defined thresholds; escalate to AR Manager as needed.
• Ensure coverage of all accounts; reassign portfolios and arrange coverage during absences.
• Log disputes, deductions, and invoice defects with correct codes and routing; intervene if stalled.
• Recommend credit holds, suspension, and payment plans per policy; no approvals by supervisor.
• Prepare weekly team results and commentary for AR Manager; assist in month-end forecasting.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of new specialists and contractors.
