Job summary

Chromalox, part of Electrical Thermal Solutions, is seeking an Associate Strategic Account Representative to support front-line leadership in managing the customer experience for Durex Industries. You will handle high-touch customer interactions, assist with orders, quotes, and portal reporting, and contribute to sales activities across accounts.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organization, and Excel skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• High energy level and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for clear verbal and written communication.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving to resolve customer issues.
• Organizational skills with high accuracy in processing documentation.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned accounts through timely and effective communication to all stakeholders.
• Process customer transactions like order entry, shipping dates, routing data, and RMAs per contract procedures.
• Assist with portal interface or reporting needs (open orders, on-time delivery, scorecards).
• Handle pre-order tasks such as new quote requests and price verifications.
• Maintain customer price lists with estimating and management.
• Follow up on quotations with customers or sales reps and log data per procedure.
• Provide critical customer intelligence to Sales and Management.
• Assist inter-departmentally with Accounts Receivable and/or collections.
• Train on responsibilities to provide support as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
