Job summary

Saint-Gobain seeks an Accounting & Reporting Business Partner to serve as the primary liaison between SSC capabilities and business units. You will manage monthly close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and coordinate MSAs/SOWs while driving process improvements and internal controls across a global framework.

The role requires deep General Ledger expertise, strong collaboration with outsourced providers, and robust knowledge of U.S. GAAP with IFRS exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration/Accounting required or equivalent
• 10–12 years General Ledger experience
• Strong experience with internal controls and US GAAP
• Experience coordinating with outsourced service providers
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary business contact for SSC to several BUs
• Manage delivery of services to business units
• Translate business needs into financial requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder communications to decompose challenges
• Coordinate SSC actions on MSAs and SOWs
• Ensure timely monthly close and accurate financial reporting
• Approve journal entries and ensure proper documentation
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses
• Sponsor and implement internal controls to mitigate risks
• Drive process improvement and automation with Service Provider
