Job summary

Saint-Gobain seeks a Sr. Analyst, Accounting & Reporting to assist the Sr Manager in leading general accounting and close activities. You will coordinate with the Service Provider and BU to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely closing, and strong internal controls.

This role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and driving efficiencies through automation while complying with GAAP and IFRS. A CPA/CMA and ERP experience are preferred for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration/Accounting is required; advanced degree is a plus.
• Professional Certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve accounting issues for BU and guide Service Provider on exceptions to rules.
• Lead SSC accounting team; facilitate day-to-day operations and improve procedures and internal controls.
• Be primary contact with customer management; ensure proactive communication and service delivery.
• Drive monthly close; approve journals, reconciliations, intercompany invoices, and tax provisions.
• Ensure Service Provider has inputs for closing and deliver timely closing results.
• Monitor GL activity and ensure reconciliations are performed timely.
• Ensure compilation of SIF packages by Service Provider, BU and SSC.
• Support review of tax, treasury, and government reports.
• Ensure compliance with ICRF and GAAP/IFRS.
• Support special BU/SSC projects.
• Respond to audits with Service Provider support.
