Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager to own day-to-day accounting for a single operating company. The role covers monthly close, financial reporting, controls, payroll oversight, and audit support across project‑based operations.

You will oversee revenue recognition, job costing, and inventory where applicable, working with the regional finance team. Expect hands‑on work, cross‑company collaboration, and ERP/system integrations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience with hands‑on ownership of the monthly close.
• Strong command of GAAP with fluency in reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Close & reporting: run the monthly close and deliver accurate flash reports.
• Project accounting: manage revenue recognition and job costing for projects.
• Reporting & forecasting: prepare the financial package and 13‑week cash flow forecast.
• Maintain and improve controls, budgets and KPIs; support audits.
• Support ERP implementations and integrations with the finance team.
• Lead and develop accounting staff, ensure payroll, AR and AP accuracy.
