Job summary

Integrated Dermatology is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key areas of the corporate accounting function for a complex multi-entity healthcare organization. You will manage staff, own close processes, and ensure GAAP-compliant consolidated reporting across entities.

The role partners with FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, Operations, Tax, and external auditors; supports acquisitions and system improvements while driving standardization and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; Master's degree a plus.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience.
• Public accounting experience and/or experience in a complex corporate accounting environment is preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting is required; healthcare, physician practice management, MSO, or multi-location experience preferred.
• Experience with acquisitions, purchase accounting, debt, equity, fixed assets, and ASC 842 lease accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to identify, investigate, and resolve accounting issues.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/financial reporting systems; NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure deadlines are met; complete and supported results.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close workpapers.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and consistent COA application across entities.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and resolve fluctuations.
• Support consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and GAAP-compliant analyses.
• Drive close-calendar discipline and seek opportunities to streamline close with better documentation.
• Oversee corporate transactions including assets, leases under ASC 842, debt, equity, and payroll accruals.
• Review intercompany transactions and eliminations; ensure differences are investigated.
• Research guidance for new transactions and document conclusions; ensure GAAP application.
• Maintain/enhance corporate accounting policies, procedures, and reconciliation standards.
• Support acquisition accounting and onboarding of new entities; coordinate chart-of-accounts mapping.
• Lead and coach accounting staff; provide substantive review and mentor team.
