Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team in Boise/Eagle, ID.

You will oversee the monthly close for our Home Health and Hospice segment and partner closely with leaders to drive the strategic vision of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is a strong technical accountant and an innovative leader who can modernize processes, build a high-performing team, ensure GAAP compliance, and support external reporting within a growing publicly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and internal controls.
• CPA license preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Coordinate external audits and SOX controls.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.
• Partner with leadership to drive process improvements.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with field leadership to support operational goals.
