Job summary

Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, handling fixed assets, prepaid expenses, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.

You will prepare reports in GAAP and SOX compliance, support internal controls, collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and other departments, and assist with special projects and system initiatives. The role supports timely month-end close, contributes to process improvements, and helps maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation calculations.
• Manage prepaid expenses schedules and amortization.
• Prepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP and SOX.
• Support internal controls and respond to audit requests.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll and other departments on accounting issues.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, and system initiatives.
