Job summary

Pennant Services is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our Boise/Eagle accounting functions within the Accounting Resource group. You will oversee monthly close, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and partner with leaders to scale a growing organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, leadership experience, and a drive to modernize processes, build a high-performing team, and support external reporting and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply technical accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• CPA/license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned locations.
• Ensure financial statements comply with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with external audits and SOX compliance.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
• Partner with Controllers to define strategic direction of the accounting function.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
