Job summary

Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial operations across our Iowa clinics. You will supervise the general ledger, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while partnering with leaders to drive informed decision-making.

The role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to translate numbers into actionable guidance. CPA is welcomed but not required; healthcare or multi-location experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting/financial-management experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and related processes.
• Support payroll-related financial processes.
• Develop and maintain annual operating budgets.
• Provide budget-to-actual and variance reporting.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow.
• Develop financial forecasts to support organizational planning.
• Track financial performance by clinic and service line.
• Monitor labor expense, revenue, profitability, and margins.
• Inform leadership of trends, opportunities, and concerns.
• Assist with compensation, bonuses, and productivity analysis.
• Evaluate financial impact of hiring decisions and capital purchases.
• Collaborate with leaders to improve financial understanding and accountability.
• Coordinate with outside accounting for taxes and year-end reporting.
• Develop and improve financial policies and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
• Provide actionable financial information to CEO and leadership.
