Job summary

Iowa Radiology P C. is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. You will support the CFO and drive process improvements to enhance transparency and efficiency.

The role covers close processes, budgeting, variance analysis, and collaboration with leadership. A strong background in GAAP, ERP systems, and external audits is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with leadership.
• Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, or financial system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes.
