Confidential Hiring Company for Tennessee is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead both domestic and international AP/AR functions, while serving as a key technical resource for the General Ledger team and supporting robust financial reporting and analysis.

You will mentor a high-performing accounting team, drive timely month-end closes, coordinate with external auditors, and champion automation to scale departmental efficiency in support of growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting/financial reporting with supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and corporate compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and develop an accounting team; set goals and reviews.
• Oversee domestic and international AP/AR functions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support GL and FP&A for month-end close.
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Drive process improvements to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
• Partner with executives to align accounting with business strategy.
