Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to drive excellence across our domestic and international Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. In addition to managing AP/AR operations, you will serve as a key technical resource for the General Ledger team, leveraging your strong background in financial reporting and analysis to support company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team; establish performance goals, conduct reviews, and champion professional growth.


• Oversee domestic and international Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.


• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure absolute compliance with company policies and accounting standards.


• Support General Ledger and FP&A teams to execute timely, accurate month-end close procedures.


• Review and approve journal entries, complex accounting transactions, and comprehensive account reconciliations.


• Lead departmental research on emerging financial reporting standards and complex accounting issues.


• Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements to identify and explain budget and actual variances.


• Coordinate directly with external auditors to facilitate annual corporate and compliance audits.


• Drive strategic initiatives to automate workflows, streamline processes, and scale departmental efficiency.


• Partner with executive leadership to align day-to-day accounting operations with broader business strategies.


• Deliver specialized financial analyses and champion special projects as directed by executive leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.


• CPA certification strongly preferred.


• 5+ years in accounting/financial reporting with 2 years in a supervisory or management role.


• Deep knowledge of GAAP regulations and corporate compliance standards.


• Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting software systems.


• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-project workflows under tight monthly closing deadlines.


• Strong analytical mindset capable of diagnosing complex financial statement variances.
