Job summary

RGP seeks an experienced Accounting Controller to lead accounting operations, ensure financial reporting integrity, and drive operational excellence. The role oversees month-end close, internal controls, compliance, and day-to-day accounting while partnering with leadership to support business objectives.

The senior role requires strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on leadership, and proven ability to manage teams and cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the accounting function including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll and reporting.
• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures.
• Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, variances, and balance sheet integrity.
• Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic planning.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions and new initiatives.
• Improve processes, systems, and reporting capabilities for efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing accounting team.
