Job summary

BDO USA in the United States seeks an Experienced Manager, Strategic Projects for Accounting Advisory Services to manage the full lifecycle of engagements, supervise staff, and oversee project progress. You will maintain client relationships and provide updates to leadership.

The role supports discovery, engagement scoping, and development of recommendations on technical accounting issues, GAAP, and financial reporting, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions.
• Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• Experience with outsourced and/or delivery center operations, preferred.
• Consultative or business advisory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-life cycle of assigned engagements with accounting expertise across the finance function.
• Perform trial balance reconciliations and record transactions in the general ledger.
• Understand client systems and how they support accounting/finance functions.
• Lead discovery meetings and formulate recommendations to client leadership on accounting issues.

MBA or other relevant advanced degree
