Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Experienced Manager in the Accounting Advisory Services practice to manage the full life cycle of engagements and lead client relationships. You will oversee staff, monitor project progress, and ensure quality work product while guiding associates and senior associates.

You will also participate in staff development and contribute to business development efforts within the team, leveraging GAAP knowledge and accounting expertise to deliver value to clients.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• Experience with outsourced and/or delivery center operations, preferred.
• Consultative or business advisory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages full life cycle of assigned engagements with accounting expertise across the finance function.
• Performs trial balance reconciliations and records transactions in the general ledger.
• Engages clients, gathers information, and maintains strong client relationships.
• Develops recommendations on technical accounting issues and financial policies.
• Supports project management, time/budget estimation, and milestones.
