Job summary

ARKRAY AMERICA, INC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead month-end close, prepare reports, and support budgeting and audits in Plano, TX. You will ensure GAAP compliance, analyze financial data, and collaborate across departments to drive accurate reporting and business insights.

The role requires 4–6 years in accounting/finance, proficiency in QuickBooks and data tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year accounting degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years in Medical Billing preferred.
• 4–6 years in accounting/finance required.
• GAAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Proficient with QuickBooks, MS Office, Power BI, and data tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, balance GLs, verify/post/reconcile transactions, resolve discrepancies.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variances, and narratives (budget vs. actual).
• File sales and use tax returns; manage tax codes in Avalara and related accounts.
• Assist audits by providing requested materials and documentation.
• Coordinate budget schedule, manage budget process and improvements.
• Track monthly expenses and capital projects; update line items as needed.
• Manage annual Secretary of State filings and annual insurance renewals.
• Process monthly payroll and banking activities; reconcile transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily sales reporting.
• Oversee related-party invoicing and commissions calculations.
