We are looking to have a Strategic Accounts Sales Manager to join our team! This position can be primarily remote with willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans in existing accounts and in targeted prospective accounts, to meet territory revenue and profit goals.
- Develop and manage a sales portfolio of $8-12MM. Key market is Co-Producers/Wholesale. Develop strong business supply relationships with key decision makers in current and targeted customer accounts at all levels.
- Work closely with account base and prospects to bring business needs and Innospec solutions together in a positive, professional environment.
- Develop proposals, quotations and deliver presentations to customers and prospects to maintain and grow territory.
- Provide routine technical support and resources, as required.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure supply satisfaction, key performance indicators are met, and optimal performance is delivered.
- Up to 50% domestic travel to visit customers and participate in internal meetings, trade shows and industry functions; limited international travel as required.
- Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new programs.
- Plan sales and service activities proactively to ensure maximum return on time investment within territory.
- Maintain current customer contact database within company guidelines.
- Provide forecasts to supply chain as required
- Conduct business within Innospec company policy and compliance requirements. Identify and communicate opportunities for new product introductions or market expansion.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; technical degree preferred
- 5+ years of successful technical sales experience, including cold calls
- Experience in the petrochemical market; experience with fuel additives and coproducer accounts is preferred
- History of delivery results with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer-related tasks
