Coatings & Adhesives - Global Executive Headhunter | Senior Consultant at TH Daniels

TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection has partnered with a global Chemical Company to recruit a Senior Sales Manager for the Coatings Business Unit.

This is a critical position within the business, working with senior leadership. This is a REMOTE position, based anywhere in the USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and supporting sales to acquire new customers and develop existing business across North America.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Chemical industry; 10+ years preferred.
  • Strong track record of sales in coatings with key/large accounts in the construction chemicals industry, with knowledge of end-use applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and presentations.
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 60% of the time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute budgets aligned with the Business Unit, including growth targets for volume, revenue, and gross margin.
  • Drive and support sales efforts to achieve business targets related to volumes, revenues, and profitability.
  • Identify unmet needs, prioritize opportunities, coordinate support within the organization, and commercialize new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to understand and promote relevant Value Propositions and ensure effective placement.
  • Develop and utilize KPIs to measure and enhance personal effectiveness and success.
