Job summary

Contract Design in Spokane, WA is seeking an Account Manager who will serve as the connective tissue between clients, internal design teams, vendors, and installers, guiding projects from concept through completion.

You will lead with insight, ensuring every solution is functional, on time, and on budget, in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with a focus on client success and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in PM, account management, or interior design.
• Working knowledge of space planning, commercial furniture products, and design processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients; assessing needs, defining project scopes, and proposing thoughtful, aesthetic, and budget-conscious solutions.
• Build long-term relationships through clear communication, creative problem-solving, and consistent follow-through.
• Deliver engaging client presentations and proactively lead the internal team to exceed expectations.
• Manage all phases of a project; from initial proposal to final installation; coordinate internal and external resources including design, procurement, vendors, and logistics.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Collaborate with designers to develop solutions that balance form, function, and cost; review and manage specifications, drawings, and order documentation.
• Leverage industry platforms and planning tools to communicate project details clearly and accurately.
• Proactively generate new business and nurture client referrals; represent Contract Design in the community.
