Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking an Account Manager in Des Moines, IA to drive sales of gases, welding and safety products. You will develop relationships, follow leads, prepare quotations, and deliver tailored solutions while supporting long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 5+ years of commercial experience preferred.
• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of gases, welding and safety in the assigned region.
• Follow sales leads, prepare quotations, and provide customer follow-ups.
• Assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Develop long-term supply relationships and contracts.
• Meet or exceed rental and sales goals in the market area.
• Represent Airgas at trade shows and maintain sales documentation.
