Job summary

Airgas in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to build relationships with end-users for safety gases and welding products in the assigned territory.

Under the District Manager, you will identify customer needs, present solutions, prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and pursue upsell opportunities while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education equivalent to a Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
• Leadership: guide and mentor associates; delegate and follow-up effectively.
• Relationship Building: communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with end-users for Safety-Gases and Welding products in the assigned region.
• Identify and pursue needs, presentations, quotations, and customer follow-ups.
• Identify and pursue upselling/cross-selling opportunities; maintain literature.
• Oversee account as primary contact, ensuring exceptional service and prompt responses.
• Conduct contract negotiations to support long-term partnerships.
